EVALUATIONS AND INSURANCE COVERAGE
A contact lens evaluation is needed to ensure proper alignment, comfort and safety of your lenses. At your visit we review your current history and eyeglass prescription and take several measurements that allow us to select a contact lens design that will meet your daily needs.
Evaluations include determining the proper power and design, diagnostic lenses and starter solutions. We will advise you on care and instruct you how to comfortably wear your lenses. We include contact lens follow up for the first 45 days with any changes that may be needed to lens design.
Lens evaluations are billed apart from the doctors exam and vary depending on the lens design.
Vision insurances may provide some coverage for this examination. Medical insurances rarely provide coverage, however may have limited coverage in circumstances of eye disease. We are providers for most vision and medical plans. Our coordinator will review your coverage with you. Please contact the office today to arrange your appointment.
